This morning we were up bright and early, well it was supposed to be bright and early but my alarm didn't go off so it ended up being 40 minutes before we were supposed to be down in the lobby to leave @ 7:30am. Can you say Eeeek!
Thankfully, everyone cooperated and I even got a shower it! We made it downstairs right on time! Well, maybe just a few minutes late but I thought that was doing pretty good for the circumstances! The rest of our group was on the bus waiting on us - ooops. We made it to the U.S. Consulate with plenty of time to spare.
After swearing in for our kiddos' U.S. citizenship and answering a few questions, we were done! Once we land on U.S. soil Esther and Xavier will officially be U.S. Citizens! Woohoooo!!! And, we will be home!!!!
"By adopting a child and helping them reach their potential, they help us reach ours. An adopted child is not an unwanted child; to the contrary. They are a child who was searched for, prayed for, cried for, begged for; received by arms that ached, making empty hearts full. Love is meant to be shared." Author unknown
